    Welcome fellow book lovers!

    We are so excited to host The Creative Book Club, and we want to thank you for supporting our small business and forming this bookish community with us. 

    MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS & PERKS
    1. The Casual Swapper (1 Month Membership)
    - Swap 1 book per event.

    2. The Regular Reader (3 Month Membership)
    - 3 consecutive book swap events.
    - Swap 1 book per event.
    - 5% discount on bookish merchandise at events. 
    - Small bookish gift.

    3. The VIP Bookworm (6 Month Membership)
    - 6 consecutive book swap events. 
    - Swap 1 book per event.
    - 10% discount on bookish merchandise at events.
    - Small bookish gift. 
    - One "bookless" swap (For one of the events you won't need to bring a book.)

    4. The Literary Legend (Annual Membership)
    - 12 consecutive book swap events.
    - Swap 1 book per event.
    - 15% discount on bookish merchandise at events. 
    - Small bookish gift.
    - Bring a friend to one event for free (You must let us know in advance!)
    - One "bookless" swap (For one of the events you won't need to bring a book.)
    - Priority access to special events. 

    Each membership option will include:
    - Entry into the event. 
    - Coffee or tea.
    - A small meal. 

    This is strictly a BRING A BOOK, TAKE A BOOK basis. We ask that the books you bring are in good condition and something you are willing to part with! We will provide a 'Reader's Registry' sheet for each book, creating our very own book club library of sorts.

    The Creative Book Club – Terms & Conditions

    1. Membership & Participation

    • Participation in The Creative book club events requires a booking and payment before the event date. Once this form has been completed, we will send you an invoice and relevant information regarding the book club! 

    • By attending, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

    • Bookings are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend. Please let us know 3 DAYS in advance if you are unable to attend, as we will need to confirm with the venue for catering. 

    2. Fees & Payment

    • Book club events include a participation fee to cover venue costs, refreshments, and any additional experiences provided.

    • All payments must be made via the specified payment methods BEFORE the event.

    • No refunds will be issued for missed events, except in cases where The Creative cancels or reschedules. If you are unable to attend and let us know in advance, you will have access to the next event. If no notice was given then you forfeit your entry fee. 

    3. Book Swap Rules

    • Participants must bring books in good condition to swap (no missing pages, excessive damage, or mold). The books can be new or secondhand, but please ensure they are in good condition.

    • Books exchanged are final - once the book has been swapped, the transfer of ownership is final. We suggest you bring a book you have already read and willing to give up! We can assure you that you will have many book options available to choose from.

    • The Creative is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged books during or after the swap.

    4. Liability & Responsibility

    • The Creative is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage occurring during events. Participants attend at their own risk.

    • Any personal belongings brought to the event are the responsibility of the owner.

    5. Conduct & Respect

    • All participants must engage respectfully with fellow book lovers. Hate speech, harassment, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

    • The Creative reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who violates these rules.

    6. Event Changes & Cancellations

    • The Creative reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an event if necessary. Participants will be notified in advance and offered an alternative date or credit for future events.

    • In the event of cancellation, refunds may be issued at The Creative’s discretion.

    7. Intellectual Property & Content

    • Photos or videos may be taken at events for social media and promotional use. By attending, participants consent to being included in such content. 

    • If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event host upon arrival or before the event.

    8. Agreement to Terms

    • By attending The Creative’s book club or book swap, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

    • The Creative reserves the right to update these terms as needed.
